Harnessing ancient musical knowledge with modern technology under the guidance of the spirit of the ancient demi-god, Gilgamesh, Treble Helix are a psychedelic rock band based on the planet Nibiru. Producer Kier Lavin (Guitar, Bass, Programming, conduit for Gilgamesh) and his wife Steph (Keyboards, Vocals) put together a team of musicians to perform new takes on the ancient sagas.
First to be recruited was Glaswegian mystic Donny Gallacher on vocals who delivers the message like an evangelical preacher during the rapture. Electronics wizard, Stuart Douglas was brought on board for second guitar after doing an excellent repair job on our spacecraft. The band are on a mission to spread messages of love and death, war and peace, but most importantly to play ear-splitting, mind-melting psychedelia. Treble Helix has received great support from independent radio stations. Their 4th single “Happy” was released in September 2022 and was played on The Mickey Bradley Show (The Undertones) on BBC Radio Ulster and The Frank Skinner Show on Absolute Radio. The band are about to release their sixth single “Strange Ways”. Treble Helix release another single “Love’s not Cancelled” on the 5th of May which is the lead single from their debut EP “The Love EP” due out on the 26th of May.
