The Global Burn Theory, formerly Burn, has been active as a melodic rock collective since as far back as the early 1980s.
Beginning life as Detente during the height of hair rock band popularity, and renaming to Burn shortly thereafter, the band have always leaned into their strong classic rock persuasion. Their sound has morphed as they have evolved, but they have remained true to their signature style and continue to retain their edge.
Today, The Global Burn Theory is comprised of George Stackhouse on lead vocals and bass, Robin Mitchard on lead guitar, Charlie Stackhouse on drums, and previous Burn members Phil Hammond and Barney Stackhouse on rhythm guitar and keyboards respectively.
