Snows Of Yesteryear explore the landscapes and emotional lore of Scotland in their forthcoming debut album, produced by Mattie Foulds (Karine Polwart, Eliza Carthy, Kris Drever) at Castlesound Studios, scheduled for release in Summer 2023. With lilting melodies, shimmering vocals and a celestial mix of guitar and violin, Snows of Yesteryear connect the folk, traditional and indie genres to find a sweet spot of musical bliss. The band’s striking videos convey a strong affinity with nature, the elemental force which has shaped their sound.
“Blending elements of folk with a slice of pop woven into the melodies, there is a toe-tapping quality to their music while still offering the heart-aching profoundness of folk.” The Other Side Reviews
