Scarlett Saint is an alternative rock duo fronted by Scottish female vocalist Scarlett and French guitarist Fabrice Jaslet. Both prolific songwriters in their own right, they met in London just before the first lockdown, and after 6 months of sending song ideas back and forth, Scarlett Saint was born. Their first single Locked in This City followed soon after and received airplay on BBC Introducing Scotland and featured in a number of playlists and blogs.
Scarlett and Fabrice started making music individually in their early teens; Fabrice hailing from a 70s rock, blues and heavy metal background and Scarlett from the goth and industrial scene. Together, their creative synergy and shared vision translate into their accomplished rock sound.
For the last year, the band has been focusing on their album and finding a team of like-minded musicians and producers committed to creating a hybrid of rock sound combining different influences with powerful vocals and roaring guitars, to craft an original and edgy sound. Scarlett Saint has a cross-media vision, hoping to blend elements of poetry, art and music to create one unique brand that offers value to its audience.
Their latest release – Your Love Is Just a Lie – is an epic story of betrayal, heartbreak and overcoming a toxic relationship. Scarlett Saint plans to release an EP and album coming next year, supported by gigs across the capital and Scotland, so stay tuned.
