2022 saw RUBY J make her Major UK Festival debut at ‘The Isle Of Wight Festival’ along with Manchester’s Biggest multi-venue indoor Festival ‘Neighbourhood’ and in March 2023 toured with The Lathums. In addition to this she has secured support slots with indie darlings The K’s , Red Rum Club and has shared the stage with Liverpudlian folk rock legend JAMIE WEBSTER.
Her unique tone has led to early bold comparisons to Amy Winehouse , Macy Gray & Tina Turner amongst others.. with her influences ranging from Billie Holiday to Paolo Nutini. inspired to pick up a guitar at aged 13 by the likes of Tash Sultana, Arctic Monkeys & more.. a now 18 year old Ruby J has a stage presence that encapsulates her audience.
