Modernlove. is a four-piece pop/rock band from Drogheda, Ireland. The band members are Barry, Cian, Daniel, and Graham². They spent much of 2020 rescheduling shows, reassessing their goals, and writing new radio-ready singles when lockdown allowed.
They released their debut EP ‘Monochrome Blue’ in 2021 to rave reviews. Each track delves into the complexities of modern life, confronting the concerns of many a twenty-something; be it romance, rejection, 21st-century communication, and the daily impact of all three.
Modernlove. has been noticed by Spotify with tracks frequently landing on New Music Friday UK, as well as Fresh Finds, Alt-Pop, and The Pop List. They have previously also received numerous spots on Channel 4’s Made In Chelsea². Their second EP was due out in 2022.
Formed in Drogheda near Dublin in 2016 of childhood friends and mutual pals, the four-piece came together as “the only people in town we knew who liked music.” They are quickly becoming the next hottest thing in the alt-pop scene.
