Jody and the Jerms formed in the Summer of 2019 in Oxford, England, and have been writing, recording and playing our blend of melodic and uplifting indie/alt/jangle rock ever since – with national airtime on Radio X (UK), Sirius XM (USA), RTVE (Spain) and BBC 6 Music, BBC Introducing, BBC Wales and BBC Ulster. “It’s almost like power pop, a bit The Bangles. or jangle pop. Lovely.” Radcliffe & Maconie, BBC 6 Music “Jody and the Jerms, sounding sparky! Like bands used to sound.” Mickey Bradley – The Undertones /BBC Ulster “Upbeat sonic ear-candy from Oxford. Pure pop but just enough angst to give it an edge. Cool.” Tim Livingston – Radio Warfare Order vinyl or CD on Bandcamp.
