Hard To Explain is a four-piece rock band from Derry, Northern Ireland. The band is composed of Aisling Faulkner on vocals, Chris Kelly and Niall McDonagh on guitars, Ben Ward on drums, and Michael Kelly on bass.
The band released their single ‘Young & Free’ in January 2023. They followed this up with another single, ‘T.O.B.T.O.’, which stands for ‘The One Before The One’. This song was the first they wrote together and was the catalyst for their decision to form a band.
Hard To Explain has been busy practising for upcoming gigs, writing new material, and organizing future performances². They have also joined the roster with Reaction Management. They have had a couple of successful releases, including their recent song ‘Watch Me’, and have worked on their own music video for their second last single ‘Prove It!’.
They are excited to return to their old stomping ground, Bennigan’s, for a gig. They have shared the stage with artists such as BoyM5, Cora Harkin, and Fierce Pit Bosses, and look forward to upcoming shows with Foreign Wolf, Von Loop, Somehow Sentient, and BoyM5.
